Asset 1.png

First, we chat about your needs, budget, and timeline. We sign a contract and then I write the script and visualize the concept with storyboards.

Asset 2.png

When the concept is done, I move into production. Here, I weave pretty shots with powerful stories and bring your brand to life.

Once production wraps, I trim and transform the footage while you sit back, relax, and enjoy your newly handcrafted video.

who is hallibrack

My name is Kathleen and I'm an award-winning writer, director, producer, shooter, editor, and one-stop studio that helps your local business produce high-quality videos. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2013 and after a few years of working professionally, I took a leap to venture out on my own. I've worked with Networks like NBC, DIY, History Channel, and brands like The Gettys Group, Reynolds Wrap, and Valspar. I have worked on a wide range of projects from documentaries in Ireland, to reality home improvement television shows with "Mr. T". My goal is to satisfy and stun all of my customers with a transparent, collaborative, and soulful process.

The junior film school

After I graduated, I was hired by Notre Dame to work as a teaching assistant for the film department. Through this fellowship, the South Bend Civic Theatre approached me to see if I would be interested in starting a junior film camp. They had no idea how it would work, but I was sold. I brought in an old television to watch movie scenes, found special props the kids requested at thrift stores, taught them to shoot with iPads borrowed from Notre Dame, taught them to edit using iMovie on two old laptops…all while housing ourselves in an abandoned fire station. That summer, I pulled together 26 kids and taught them how to make movies from scratch in 5 days.

why hallibrack

I started Hallibrack because I'm a storyteller who grew up around small businesses. I'm the one who dried your truck with towels at the car wash, I'm the one who set your table before a delicious meal, who helped you get a bag of dog food off the top shelf, who runs payroll for the family business...and now I want to tell your story.

manifesto

No one knows your brand and business better than you do. I’m here to help you craft together the captivating story that sells your product and shows your customers why they love the experience you provide. I write stories for every audience. I believe in a transparent, collaborative, and soulful process. I value your experience and can’t wait to partner with you.

The princess grace award

The Princess Grace Foundation-USA is a non-profit, publicly-supported charity, headquartered in New York City and established 36 years ago by Prince Rainier III of Monaco to honor his wife, Princess Grace’s [Kelly] legacy. Their mission is dedicated to identifying and assisting emerging talent in theater, dance, and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships, and fellowships.

In 2012, I was awarded the Princess Grace Undergraduate Film Award to produce my film, An tOileán (The Island). The process required me to write a grant proposal that demonstrated my ability to produce a short film in Ireland, in the native Irish tongue. The Royal Family of Monaco awarded me $25,000 for this project which is in Post-Production.
